Cyclefi has a proven track record of innovation as demonstrated through its product range and its technological propositions. In fact, Cyclefi represents a beacon of research excellence for Greece. Cyclefi’ intense research interest is proven from Cyclefi’ participation on research, innovation and technological development and programs. We are delivering cutting-edge technology and tech-enabled behavioural science applications for several research projects, all co-funded by the European Union and Greek national funds through the Operational Program "Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation" (EPAnEK), under the program “RESEARCH-INNOVATE”.

Just Go Zero Schools
An IoT weight scales & identification technology. A first-of-its-kind internet-connected digital weight scale that can be placed underneath any recycling bin to monitor weight at any given time. The product also enables user identification and monitoring their sorting performance. The IoT devices applied to deploy a school tournament with a dynamic ranking

Community partnerships and outreach
Overall, we strive to educate the next generation to be responsible and take ownership over their future. We recognize that education is crucial to inspiring a lifelong passion for our environment’ valuable resources. In that direction, we develop programs that are important both for protecting our valuable resources and citizens’ awareness: By participating in the education of a new generation ready to confront the visible and invisible cost of waste, energy and waste and make more responsible choices, we are making an investment in a more sustainable future.
Moreover, we support other organizations that share our vision for a people-centric, environmentally conscious society. Also, we are seeking to make a positive impact on ecosystems that are recovering from pollution, deforestation, and natural disasters, while at the local level, our team volunteers on the ground to support organizations addressing environmental problems facing disadvantaged communities—demonstrating our belief that a cleaner environment creates safer and more prosperous communities.
Academia Collaboration
Cyclefi since its establishment back in 2016, has a longstanding history of collaborating with academia to develop innovative concepts to address the Waste, Energy and Water NEXUS challenges.
This research-oriented collaboration, provide an unbiased perspective; challenging preconceived ideas and creating new concepts that help Cyclefi see the problems with a new set of lenses.
