Cyclefi' Journey
Since 2016, Cyclefi has developed from a very small Athens-based R&D office to one of the leading infrastructure Solution entities, providing digital products and IoT equipment for waste, energy and water applications. This has been an eventful, challenging and creative journey.
Cyclefi’ Innovation Lab, like any startup, has evolved. But we’ve never strayed from our core mission: to bring together technologists to solve real-world waste, energy and water nexus challenges that can radically improve quality of life in cities for all. From the start, we focused on solving cities’ greatest waste, energy and water challenges through forward-thinking urban design and cutting-edge technologies.
We know that a sustainable future is non-negotiable, but it has to be built block by block, and city by city. Now, combining our forward-thinking design capabilities, insights and technological strength, we are prepared to go further and faster than ever. Building on insights from our previous work in the field, we are focusing on innovations and continue to launch new products and develop others internally.

As a recognition of its pioneering approach, Cyclefi has been awarded as the Best European startup, in the category of “Smart Cities” at Startup Europe Awards competition. Cyclefi P.C. also received the numerous recognitions and awards in well-known Greek startup competition for sustainable solutions, for its innovative solution of incentivized recycling, and for its ground-breaking solutions.

Cyclefi as a solution engineering company, is dedicated to craft innovative solutions and develop technology-based products, services, and applications, to bring radical new concepts, from idea exploration to prototyping and eventually full-scale deployment, while promoting the principles of Circular Economy and Green Deal in the European Union.
